Pete from North Carolina Call 1

I listen to a lot of podcasts — I’m subscribed to 16 in all, several of which are daily shows (Rach Maddow, Fresh Air, Countdown for a few). A recent additoin is the new David Angelo Show, which is the podcast hosted by comedian David Angelo from New York. What’s different about this one is that I’m participating, calling in as a character calling himself “Pete from North Carolina.” While the calls, so far, have gone quite well, there are a few issues that exist right now. The first being I don’t really know Pete’s Background, so I make it up as I go along, which may have negative consequences. Also, if you hear it in real life the accent is horrible, but over the phone it’s distorted just enough to sound okay, though, admittedly, it is more of a Georgia accent.
